Jamal started earning his stripes in Battle Ops back in October of 2006 as a fresh Battle Ops Capt for Star Wars:EAW. He proved his character and leadership ability and soon was promoted to Major. His dedication to the section and his teammates never wavered. While the road for them was tough, he held the reigns inspiring them all till the section was unfortunately moved to Dev then added to the Archives.

Having his first experiences with leadership he was hungry for more. As CnC3 came online he quickly showed his talent and became one of the initial GCs, helping to form the core of the officer team. Once they were out he became an FO Capt. But the taste of BO was in his blood now and soon he was once again at in the BO Capt seat and inspiring those around him to greatness.

After running through 2 RTS games FPS had worked it's way under Jamal's skin. Now living for the thrill of the kill he joined Battle Ops as an FPS Commissioner. Quickly showing the passion, dedication, fierce tenacity, and professionalism that exemplifies what Battle Ops is all about. While most Comms would be maxed out with their section duties, Jamal was hungry for more also taking point in the short time we had a BO CJ. He became the lead co editor of the Front Line, BO's monthly publication.

Now as a FPS Comm, CJ, he also was Colonel WNxDaPope's #2. Handling all FPS issues when DP was called away for duties over seas. The experiences gained allowed him to be ready when or if the was an opening in FPS. While it looked like DP would be the rock at the FPS leadership position forever. The time came when Jamal's dedication to Battle Ops paid off. While having multiple opportunities to move to an Admin position in other departments his love for BO's mission would never allow him.

Nearing 2 years from his first taste of Battle Ops he is still continuing to set the standard for what BO means to every one in WNx. He has had point on the FPS Shoot Out, trained multiple Comms into great leaders, and has been a constant presence in the forums and in game. With out him the FPS department of Battle Ops would not be where it is today. It is with great honor and respect I am proud to bestow upon one of our own the Medal of Competitive Edge!!!

These games have dangerously fallen way below what is required, were on
probation in the previous month and have not brought their membership number back
above the minimum requirement. These games will be evaluated for either moving to
development which converts leadership to game champions or a direct cut.

Phase 5 - 3 day Military Council Candidate Selection Period Aug 17th - 19th
• Military Council is required to discuss and vote on 5 out of 7 top candidates who may move on to the next phase.

Once phase 5 is complete, the top 5 selected by the Military Council will be announced so they can campaign for the duration of Phase 6.

The results on the voting in Phase 4 are shown in the image below.
